Get out your tissues! Scientists have found the loneliest whale in the world. Unlike all other whales which sing to each other between the 15-25 Hertz range, this one whale sings at 52 Hertz. In other words, he speaks a totally different language; a language for one.
The frequency is so much higher, that other whales are unable to hear him singing, yet he can hear them. Even stranger, this whale doesn’t follow the same migration path as the others. He sings along. He travels alone. I feel a children’s book coming on here!
